Theta Chi
Alpha Omicron, Washington State University
The Alpha Omicron chapter of Theta Chi fraternity at Washington State University was installed in 1928, and as a result is one of the oldest fraternities on campus. Currently, Theta Chi boasts being one of the largest houses on campus with 75??? Members enrolled. The members of Theta Chi Fraternity are instilled moral values passed on by every generation of the fraternities past. The fraternity has a rich history, impressive community outlook, and most importantly a strong emphasis on brotherhood.
The men of Theta Chi are strongly dedicated to maintaining high academic standards at Washington State, while improving on leadership, moral, and social skills.

Scholarships
Dale A. Slivinske Memorial Scholarship Fund:
The Slivinske Scholarship Fund was established in 1989 with an initial
deposit of more than $44,000 from the estate of Brother Dale Slivinske, past
executive director of Theta Chi Fraternity. In addition to any gifts
designated for this fund by contributors, it also receives all contributions
to the Foundation made through the Undergraduate Giving Program; all monies
contributed by hole sponsors in the Fraternity’s annual National Golf
Tournament; and all royalties earned by the Fraternity’s Short Term Medical
Insurance Program, the Fraternity’s Student Select Medical Insurance
Program, the Fraternity’s Gift Accident Insurance Program, and Fraternity’s
Affinity Visa Credit Cards program. The investment income of this fund
provides individual academic scholarships to undergraduate members of Theta
Chi Fraternity.
At the discretion of the Board, this fund may receive all or a portion of a
General Fund surplus at the end of a Foundation Fiscal Year. Scholarships
from this fund are named in memory of the late Executive Director of the
Fraternity. They are given to undergraduate and vocational education
students who have a cumulative grade point average above the school’s
All-Men’s average and who demonstrate service to the Fraternity among other
attributes. The minimum award amount is five hundred dollars but it can be
more based on available funds.
Sherwood Blue Scholarship Fund:
Scholarships from this fund are named in memory of the first President of
the Foundation Chapter. They are given to graduate students and
undergraduate students of junior or senior standing who demonstrate
leadership and service to Fraternity, community and Alma Mater among other
attributes. The minimum award amount is one thousand dollars but it can be
as much as five thousand dollars in exceptional cases.
Colley Award Scholarship Fund:
Scholarships from this fund support the educational pursuits of the
recipient and two runners-up of the Reginald E. F. Colley Award. A chapter
of the Fraternity submits the application for this award and the Colley
Award committee appointed by the Grand Chapter selects the recipients. The
minimum award amount is one thousand dollars but it can be more based on
available funds.
